We get asked a lot if our Airstream is vintage! Which is actually pretty cool because about 70% of all Airstreams ever built are STILL on the road TODAY!
People are very surprised when we tell them
ours is NOT vintage!
We did debate on going vintage or buying new.  Ultimately, the best choice for us was to purchase a new one! Since our nearest dealership did not have the specific model we wanted, we ordered our Airstream from the factory in Jackson Center, Ohio.

Decorating the Airstream is probably one of my favorite things to do! I am very particular about the way I want the interior to look so  sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error to accomplish the correct look. Because we live in a tiny home everything that gets added as decor must be minimal and flow well with the existing decor. If it doesn't, things can start to look too messy or cluttered and that is exactly what you want to avoid in a small space. The goal is for the space to appear larger! Want to learn how we decorate? Organization is essential!

One thing we learned quickly after moving into our Airstream was that all of our items needed a designated space to be stored. It is very important to keep the interior as organized as possible to minimize clutter. Thankfully, we already had a lot of bins and various containers from our house to use in our Airstream. Making it our own!

We love the overall look and layout of our Airstream. But when you live in an RV fulltime there are some things that need to be changed up to make that space fit your needs a little better. All the modifications we have done in the Airstream are not permanent and the trailer can go back to its original form if needed. These changes we made have really made living in our Airstream easier!
